The other day I caught word on Twitter that newcomer Matt Hague‘s uniform number would be #36. So I retweeted it and tagged the man:

He was kind enough to reply, saying:

The sports pages the next day were all talking about how “Hague Tweets Again” and I thought perhaps I had gotten him in trouble, as they did not like that he had jumped the gun and announced his official signing on Twitter before the club could formally make it known to the public. But this time around, it was deemed “good” by media outlets, as his tweet came 30 minutes after the team publicized the move.
As you can see, the Japanese translation is of Hague’s reply tweet to yours truly.
Whew! Glad I am not responsible for getting our new import in trouble!
