We’re back in first! This was a true nail-biter, as the teams exchanged blows from the fourth inning on. Both teams also had bases-loaded chances that came up short, and both teams got big home runs from last year’s two biggest home run hitters. Kazuma Okamoto’s sixth-inning bomb was a dagger through the hearts of Tigers fans, but Yusuke Ohyama did everyone right with a walk-off two-run home run off the Giants’ closer, who, until earlier this week, had rattled off 32 straight mounds without giving up a run. Let’s go for the sweep tomorrow! Now’s not the time to take the foot off the gas! Forty games still left to play!
