The Hanshin Tigers hosted the Climax Series Final Stage for the first time in team history. Would they be alright coming into the most important part of the year completely cold? The pitchers would probably be alright, but how about the hitters? Well, they didn’t exactly light up the scoreboard or hit the cover off the ball, but when runs needed to be scored, they pushed guys over home plate. Tonight was no exception. And so, for the first time in nine seasons (in 2014, they swept the Giants at Tokyo Dome in a huge upset), the Hanshin Tigers are heading to the Japan Series. The action starts on October 28 (Saturday) at the Pacific League ballpark. Keep it going, Tigers!!!
