It would not have been too hard to predict the Tigers taking two of three against the Dragons, even if they are not typically good at Vantelin Dome. They played Tuesday at a countryside ballpark, where the Tigers normally do well. And they were doing alright there, on schedule to win, until a fatal error threw them off track. (He who committed the error – Teruaki Sato – was promptly farmed.) But they righted the ship with a “par-for-the-course” win on Wednesday (low-scoring) and then an atypical one on Thursday, as the Tigers nearly scored in double digits. Back in first place after a couple of days in second. The lead is slim, but it’s still a lead! Heading back home to face the Swallows on the weekend…
