Last year, the Hanshin Tigers dominated the all-star fan voting results… in fact, only one position player from other teams got chosen to play on the big stage! I wonder if, given that this team won the Japan Series last year, things will be the same again this year! Here are your instructions (plus links) on how to make sure your votes count – starting today and running all the way through June 23! For the record, the games this year will be played at Es-Con Field Hokkaido (July 23) and Meiji Jingu Stadium (July 24).
Anyhow, click on the pic below to get to the NPB all-star voting site, and register yourself.
Click on the left 会員登録 red button the first time through so you can register; then the right ファン投票 button every subsequent day you come back and vote.
As you can see, you need to check the 利用規約に同意する option (which says you agree to voting rules and regulations), then enter your email address and create a password – four to sixteen characters suffices. DO NOT check the NPBオフィシャルメールマガジン登録 box unless you want to receive a newsletter from NPB in Japanese.
Click on the blue 仮登録 button (above), and you will receive an email from NPB. When you see this (below) displayed on your screen, you can close the tab/window, and head over to your email inbox…
… where you’ll find an email in Japanese, and a link that looks like the one below. Click on it within 24 hours, or you have to restart the process.
Then click on the blue button (see below)…
And you’re ready to select your team! Slide players over into the correct slots (SP, RP, closer, C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF x 3 — same order for PL = パ・リーグ but with DH at the end)…
It should look like this for the CL…
You’ll see an orange button after the first screen that says 確認画面へ. Click on it, and you’ll see your ballot as you’ve filled it out. Looks good? Then you still need to click on the orange button below to finalize!
If you see *this* (below) displayed on your screen, *then* you know you’re done.
Now don’t forget to come back every day and vote your guys in again and again! Every vote counts, and you have a chance to stuff the ballot box well if you remember to do it daily!
